The masonry method and key points of furnace bottom are as follows:
(1) Check the exhaust holes on the steel structure to ensure that all exhaust holes are unblocked.
(2) Check the gas supply sleeve to ensure that there is no breakage, deformation and desoldering, and ensure that the pipe is smooth.
(3) The magnesia brick layer at the bottom of the furnace shall be laid with M-I bricks. When it is laid to the arc-shaped steel plate close to the furnace shell, the semi dry magnesia slurry shall be used for tamping, and the ramming material shall be level with the magnesia brick.
(4) The horizontal magnesia brick layer is built by cross method. The paving direction of one layer can be selected arbitrarily, but the angle of upper and lower layer should be staggered by 45 ° to 60 °. When the furnace bottom is laid close to the arc section of the furnace bottom, magnesium fire mud with brine shall be used for tamping. The ramming material shall be level with the brick layer and shall not be higher than the brick surface of the same layer.
(5) When the furnace bottom is laid to the position of air supply brick, it is necessary to reserve a square hole of 300 mm × 300 mm centered on the hole of bottom steel plate for the installation of air supply brick.
(6) The layer is made of magnesia fireclay. When a layer of brick is finished, the magnesia ash is paved and scraped back and forth with a flat shovel to make the magnesia fireclay fill the brick joints.
(7) Set up arc sample plate and check whether its radian is consistent with the outer radius of furnace bottom working layer. It is required that the alignment should be accurate and the support should be firm.
(8) The ratio of magnesium fire mud in brine is 70% magnesia, 30% fine magnesia and proper amount of brine.
